Co sleeping while away for a weekend

we plan on going away for 3 nights next months here in country and then again a few weeks later for just 1 nights stay. My LO is 10months and will be 11months then. He does sleep well in his cot but there are many mornings I co sleep with him if he’s woken around 4:30am or if he’s teething I’ll sleep all night with him in our bed. Our home bed has really tall screwed in bed rails on all sides so it’s very safe he won’t fall out the bed. I’m worried I might need to co sleep with him while away for what ever reason and it’s not safe in a bed with no bed rails up. I can’t take ours with us. He can crawl and stand. Yes fair enough I can insist he sleeps in his travel cot but there are times where it’s better for both him and me to co sleep. Has anyone got any advice how to do this safely while not in our usual own bed. TIA

We used to rearrange the furniture if required and push the bed against the wall. We also bought bed rails later when they were toddlers.

Bed rails you can bring with you I mean.
