Chicco next to me dream or something cheaper?

I like how easily the side of the chicco next to me dream goes down and back up again. I don't really want one where the side is always down as we have 2 dogs. But is it worth the price tag of £170 or should I just get a cheaper one like the aldi option for £80? Am I just going a bit crazy with the spending?!

The side is quite hard to get up and down and rocks the whole bed when you do so, which wakes the baby up! I like a lot of chicco products but not the dream!

I just sold our dream for £100, baby slept in it all of twice and it was mostly used as nappy and snack storage. For us a complete waste of money.
