Bedside crib bedding - CONFUSED

Hi all,

I might be being daft but I'm a bit confused about what bedding in need for baby's bedside crib! Confused

I have a tutti Bambini cozee with natural coir latex mattress and was wondering wondering:

  1. Do I need a waterproof mattress protector?
  1. If yes, do I then also need to put fitted sheets on top of it?

Bit silly but just don't want to buy what I don't need Grin x

We had a snuzpod so a very similar design

-Waterproof sheet/protector. This was great when baby was sick
-Sheet over the top of that
-Sleepyhead
-Baby swaddled in sleepyhead

Started using sleeping bags instead of swaddling around 5-6 months

With waterproof sheets/normal sheets, make sure you have at least 2 of everything as there will no doubt be some sort of incident in the night where you need to take the dirty sheets off and put new ones on with your eyes closed

Hi,

What did you do in the end? We had a Cozee for our first and no problems but I've since got the coir replacement mattress and it doesn't fit any of the tutti bambini branded sheets or mattress protector. It causes the mattress to bunch up and not be smooth and flat as per safety guidance. I also measured the mattress and it measures at 84x53cm NOT 80.5x51cm as marked.
Is it just our version?
