Hi I've just assembled my chicco next to me crib and was wondering if anyone could give me some advice. I just want to check really that it's the correct height? My own mattress comes up slightly higher than the bed frame you see. I've taken a pic so any advice would be much appreciated xx

I'm struggling to remember how we had ours, but think we had it so it was slightly lower than the mattress - the edge bit of the next2me was flush with the bed frame if that makes sense?

I have one currently, the edge of the next2me is level with my mattress, so the actual crib mattress is slightly lower. Also make sure it's completely flush against your bed and the straps are really tight.

Thanks both, so does this look ok to you? That's as low as it will go and the straps are tight. It is flush with the side of the bed but I'm just paranoid about the bit of a lip it's got xx

I would put a sheet over the cot and bed so that it is completely flush.

I did think that, I can't though due to the bed frame. I was thinking of putting a pool noodle under my fitted sheet to close the gap? X

It definitely needs to be closer to your bed than that.. I think mine was lower than that so it's flush to the frame

It is totally flush with the frame but my mattress is higher than the bed frame. If that makes sense. The mattress is totally level with the edge of the safety ridge thingy but the bed frame itself is lower but the actual crib won't go any lower :( I think I'm just going I have to use it with the sides up :( xx

Yes I wouldn't risk using it like that especially as the gap is so big. Can't you push your matress over more towards the crib?

Same problem in my case. So I had to go for something else although I really love to have a next to me crib as its really convenient at nights than getting up and going to the nursery every time.
