bed guard recommendations

Hi

I am fairly new to mindset and would like to ask for recommendations for bed guards for cot beds.

My 2 and a half year old is showing signs that he will be climbing out of his cot soon and we are thinking of changing to his cot bed.

We found our bed guard to be pointless as dd had a thick mattress so we just put the cot mattress on the floor so if she fell out she'd be safe. I think she fell out twice and we just found her asleep on the mattress that was on the floor.

Thank you for replying think we will prob need Bed guard though cos there isn't enough room for spare mattress.
