Carrycot as occasional use Moses basket

Hi all

I was just wondering I am buying a crib for my bedroom for when my baby is born, however the pram I have bought has a carrycot which I can use downstairs for sleeping during the day ect just wondering if most people would use this or buy a Moses basket Aswell? Also can carrycots be placed on Moses basket stands?

We used the carrycot for daytime sleeps and overnight on holiday, and yes it fitted on the same stand.
