Apologies, i know there is a very similar thread just opened on this topic, but it's a slughtly more basic question between the two co-sleepers...

I've read that the Chicco can be easily folded down and stored in a bag when no longer needed, and that the snuzpod base can be folded away, but does anyone know about the crib section? and if not, how much hassle it would be to flat pack it away??

Limited storage in our house, and the one that packs away smallest will probably be the one we buy, unless people have horror stories of either? or indeed, fabulous experience of either?!

Thanks

We have the snuzpod. The crib/Moses basket can't be collapsed as far as I know.

The quality is, IMO, far superior to the chicco which is really one step away from a travel cot in appearance. But, despite much measuring it's too short to attach to our bed so we're a bit stuck using it as a regular crib!
But it's gorgeous, will last to 6 months, beautifully made and has some useful storage underneath

Word of warning - get it ordered early, when we bought the lead time was about 6 weeks and there was a waiting list for new deliveries nationwide

Thanks for the reponse, just one further query. Our bed has a wooden frame, which is a perimeter around the mattress of around 10cm - looking at the Snuzpod, would this mean it couldn't sit directly next to the bed mattress? i.e. with the side down, there would be a gap between bed and baby?
Looking at the Chicco, that looks like the legs couldslide under the bed thus get closer?
Thanks
