Baby's furniture

30 weeks gp tomorrow and am thinking dh and I need to get a move on with sorting the cot and furniture!

We're thinking a cot bed, and some form of storage but from having a good rummage on the internet, well I'm still lost

What we know we want is:

Cotbed:
Teething rail guard
Adjustable height mattress
Pine/light wood colour

Storage:
Drawer space is going to be far more useful than a wardrobe. Who hangs up baby's clothes anyway?!

Cot or cot bed
Chest of drawers
Maybe some shelves
Nursing chair / rocking chair
Changing mat - on top of drawers to start with, on floor kn e baby starts to roll. Put nappies, bum cream etc in one of the top drawers.

You can spend as much or as little as you like. DS had a hand me down cot, drawers we already had and shelves left over from an office move. He seems OK. We redid his room and hit some new furniture when he was three anyway ;although he had fine into a proper bed at 21 months). L
