I'm a new mum to be and I have a cotbed with cot top changer (2nd hand off eBay)
The cot top changer has a Velcro strap for the head end. I'm a bit confused as we wanted to put the cotbed against the wall, which will make it difficult to use the Velcro strap.
What do you with yours?

Bin it and change the nappy on the floor - much easier when they can roll, and if you have a boy, expect lots of sheet changes due to the tendency to wee when nappy removed!
sorry, not much help, but my opinion of them.

Isn't the Velcro strap meant to tie the changer to the cot? I never bothered with it though. I found changing a baby on the floor a real pain.. in my lower back and knees. Standing is just easier for some.

I couldnt change on the floor either, don't bin it.

Can the Velcro loop through just to tie it on?

Oh and just have a towel on the mat for when they pee, then it won't go in the cot.
