Mesh Bumper or not

DC (4 months) has just learned to turn over onto her side and constantly traps her feet between the cot bars, which is distressing for her. Is it recommended to use no bumpers at all or would mesh bumpers be a good idea? If you have used mesh bumpers which ones worked for you?

I understand that bumpers aren't recommended but have heard of mesh ones. Could you try her in a sleeping bag so her feet don't get stuck?

I never used a bumper but did use a sleeping bag
