Cosatto Stratford Cot Bed safety issue

It seems the safety alert was issued a year ago, but I only heard about it after reading a tragic story on the BBC News website today. www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-edinburgh-east-fife-21329187.

Thought I should spread the word as these are bound to be doing the rounds in the second hand market.

I'm bumping this thread, after reading another story today about this inquiry:

We have this cotbed. For anyone else who has one please get the metal bar from the manufacturer, it's v easy to fix on.

We were notified of the problem by the manufacturer, but owners of 2nd hand cots might not know.
