Truckle bed

Need to buy a new bed for DS. I am thinking of buying a truckle bed to go underneath so that he can have friends to stay and also good to pull out if he is poorly so I can sleep next to him. Any good recommedations. I want something will take an adults weight. Many thanks

we went for a proper bunk bed when DS1 was 2.5 years old,.
best advice I was given to choose one where you can sit up straight on bottom bunk, so when you read stories you don't bang your head or end up with back pain!
DH is 6 ' 5" so we chose one from Ikea, also the length of bed/mattress is 2m./ 6' 6"
