Anna cot- how safe in top or middle position?

Is it safe in the top or middle position? Instruction manual says lowest is safest (but obv. least convenient). DD is 10 weeks old. Thanks.

it will be safe in the top position until your DD starts to get more mobile and tries to stand up. When it got to that stage we moved the cot position to the bottom without using the middle position.
