Cotbed Bumper's??

Hi everyone, I have a question which I hope someone may have the answer to! I have a 15 month old DS and he sleep's in a mama's & papas modensa cotbed, it has solid ends the head & feet end and slated sides. He is very active in his sleep and often sits up and lays back down with force & moves around everywhere! It worries me that he will really hurt himself in his sleep. We have bumper's at the moment on the sides but cannot find anything to have at the ends (head & feet) as there is no way a bumper could be fixed securely nor could the wrap bumpers. Does anyone have any suggestions or come across this problem before? Thank you :)

When we had a bumper and dc2s cotbed sounds like yours, we just tied it at the very first rail on each side, so it was like a u shape. But then when dc2 was trying to stand up he ended up using it as leverage and ripped it so now he has nothing. And i hear him clattering about his cotbed all the time during the night.
