Cots and beds

This topic is for discussing cots and beds. We've spent weeks researching and testing newborn beds in real homes with real families.

Can you recommend some nice solid bunk beds?

I am looking for white wooden ones and am considering Next, Aspace and Tesco Direct ATM.

Or maybe Stompa?

We have the ones from M&S which I think are great - plus they assemble them on delivery (a great bonus in our house of minimal DIY skills!)

Yes I liked the look of the M&S one but the white wasn't on the website and now neither is the natural wood one. Maybe out of stock.

We got these ones from this store: www.bedzrus.co.uk/catalog/childrens_beds/bunk_beds/Steens_For_Kids_Bunk_Bed_5830_404.html Really pleased with them, and had no problems with the company either.

We have the dreams Vancouver ones and they are actually made by stompa. I like them because they can become 2 seperate beds should we need it later.

We have 2x these bunkbeds and they are very sturdy.

We have Flexa bunks flexa.dk/?AreaID=8 and we've been pretty happy with them. We've had ours set up as an L shaped bunk set, and currently as two single beds. They were quite expensive, but I don't expect to buy another bed until my children leave home as they are modular and sturdy (and very comfortable).

The company were great - we lost some parts in a move, and when I emailed them to ask how much it would cost to replace them they just sent me a whole pack of parts free of charge (and this was from the US branch, not the UK one I bought them from several years before).

Thuka beds are great too.

We have these but in the maple finish.

They are really sturdy and can be used as singles or bunks, were good value in a package deal with good mattresses, very comfy I have slept in them lots when the children are having a musical beds kind of night.
