Can you help with recommendations for a mattress protector as I'm about to try for dry nights (she say optimistically!).
My son is a very hot child though so it should be terry towelling topped or similar.

Thanks in advance ladies, I feel a trip to John Lewis coming on today for a browse under the pretense.

Nicola

What size bed are they in? IKEA does single, terry towelling-topped waterproof ones for £8.99.

You can always put a bath towel on top of the waterproof sheet and under the normal sheet. That's what I did. The towel also catches any accidents.

It's one of those ikea grow with your child beds but they never seem to have the mattress cover when I go, and Asda's was too small.

I've tried the towel underneath thing when he was poorly but he's such a fidgeter that it's all over the place.
Plus there's the noise issue....

A aquadolaris pad which fits any bed and is washable and breath able. They are a bit pricy but are really good £29.99

Also there are b-sensible sheets which are waterproof but washable and soft as a normal sheet.

I use the Hippychick waterproof sheet and pillowcase for my little one, feels like a normal cotton sheet to touch but is waterproof, washable and tumble-dryer friendly. Great stuff.
