Have a mothercare cot bed which has served us well for DS & DD. Need a good but relatively cheap cot for DC3 (due imminently), as both bit young to be in bunk beds to free up the cotbed. Assumed we'd go to mothercare again but the two cheaper drop sided cots havn't got great reviews (mainly due to drop side which we've never had having only used the cotbed). Are they that bad? Anyone any experience with IKEA cots? or any others? Are drop sides the main cause of problems?

Thanks!

Doesn't have to new at all! Just want to know make or style (eg drop side) what to avoid. Daphne- I'm in Scotland! Family in bucks...!
