This topic is for discussing cots and beds. We've spent weeks researching and testing newborn beds in real homes with real families.

Potentially very stupid question coming up...

Not having measured my double bed mattress and compared it with the fitted sheets we use, I have no idea if it matters if the cot sheets we buy are bigger than the mattress.

Our cot mattress is 117 x55 cm, but all the fitted sheets I can find are 120 x 60 cm. Will these be OK?

Apologies if this is a monumentally stupid question, but my brain function is rapidly shutting down...

They should be fine as the elastic should be enogh to keep them in place. I found if I tumble dried mine they shrunk a little bit too. If you do find they're a bit loose you can get straps that fit under mattress to keep sheet in place.
