I can't remember it's name (kune?) and can't do links either unfortunately as MNing from phone, but i was wondering if u could put a mattress on the floor at the bottom and use as bunk beds? Having a real dilemma about what to do, ds1 is 4.6 and ds2 is 2.6 and they're sharing a room which isn't massive. Also need ds2 not to be climbing around braining himself at night? Could just get another single but need all the space we can get. Any advice!

Is it this with this underneath ?

Looks okay in principal and seems to be what you need at the moment.

But I wouldnt do it.
If you are stuck for space the beds will have to be very close.
It will be the biggest faff every day to sort out the beds /bedding etc. What if the one in the 'upper' bed throws up in the night? Then you potentially have two beds to sort out plus two awake children to get back to sleep. Ditto bed wetting/nightmares etc.

However if you have room enough to push the lower bed far enough away from the upper bed that this wont be a problem then you have space for single beds. They will need them in a couple of years anyway so why waste time and money to redo the beds so quickly.

Personally I would have bunk beds.Smile

aah, it was called Kura I think, different to that one. Well, am currently trapped under two mattresses in a camper van - we went for the £90 bunk beds. I hope we've done the right thing. Ds1 will be fine, just worried ds2 will be constantly climbing up and it's quite high! Have to see how it goes I suppose. Wish me luck- it's bad enough trying to get them to stay in bed as it is!
