Ikea ODDA range - any good?

Trying to update DD's fairly small bedroom. She is 8, with very fixed idea on what she wants - something glossy and trendy. Have been through the whole mid-sleeper/high-sleeper scenario without finding anything that really suits and now looking at Ikea ODDA range, which seems fairly trendy and with lots of storage. Having suffered at the hands of Ikea before I am reluctant to buy without some sort of recommendation. Has anyone tried it? Thoughts very much appreciated!

we have this for dd aged 10. It is huge to transport - only just fitted in our car - and very heavy. She loves it - has bed, under bed storage boxes and a slide out storage unit that goes behind the bed. She has lots of cushions on it to make it look like a sofa. The only problem we have is that the bed slats sometimes slip off the surround on one side onto the storage boxes below. You then have to take the mattress off to sort it out (or let her sleep on a slope until you get round to sorting it out...) Not sure if this is a design fault or our construction skills. we weren't that keen on ikea but like you this was the only thing we found that fitted the room and her requirements. she also has a open backed back case/storage unit with desk attached which works really well for homework and storage.
