Amby Nest

I have just brought newborn dd home and put her in the amby nest but it looks wrong, i thought they were supposed to have their head higher than their feet and she looks to be lying flat or even have her bottom end higher than her head. Any suggestions?

I've used these for both mine and have to say it takes a few days of wiggling and jiggling the nest to get it just right.
don't be too strict of positioning her bottom right in the centre or lowest point. lie her so her head is slightly higher but almost flat.
to raise the head end play around with the material and bows at the top until you get it even. perhaps reposition the mattress a few times to get it just right.
you only really need to raise her head if she has reflux or cholic (sp) so most of the time she should be flat.
when it all works well her bottom should be in the lowest part and the head should be higher than her bottom, but the height of her feet compared to her head doesn't matter.
Persisit with it though, it worked beautifully for both mine who have slept through from 8 weeks for 11 hours and still do (nearly 3 years on).

Thanks, did a lot of fiddling with it and found i hadn't velcroed the two sides together. Dur! It looks great now. Just need to persuade her to go in it instead of sleeping on me.
