Have you used this? Advice and opinions welcome!

I love how it allows co-sleeping, but gives baby and parents own space (scared of squashing), and also how it becomes a free-standing cot when it's time for baby to move rooms.

I've got one, very happy with it! The matress height matches up to my bed, but I have had to put rolled up blankets down the far side of the cot mattress so there is no gap between my mattress and the cot mattress iyswim.

DS starts the night in the cot when he goes to bed, then when he wakes for a night feed I just pull him over to me and latch him on. He often doesn't want to go back over to his side though and spends the rest of the night in bed with me.

I haven't got this exact cot but a normal cot which I adapted, and I love it. Best thing I bought/made for DS :)

How easy was it to adjust a normal cot? (and can it be readjusted back to normal?). thanks :)

It depends on the cot. Basically you need to first find out if it will stand up with 3 sides, and secondly whether you can raise the mattress up to the correct height. This could be done with blocks of wood under the legs if you really didn't want to drill holes in it. We were going to drill extra holes in ours but then realised that the legs of the cot tapered as you got further up so the holes wouldn't be in the middle of one. (XP ended up screwing the mattress support to the cot - it works but I can't dismantle it now)

I know the ikea cots which are cot sized but turn into (very little) toddler beds work very well using this method.
