can I use the same cot mattress for DC2 that I did for DC1?

What's the SIDS advice on cot mattresses. Had a brand new one for my DD who is now 2. Can I use that same mattress for my DS?

as far as I'm aware, it's best to use a new mattress for each child, even for siblings.

I used the same one my Dniece had used for both my DDs. However most people will tell you that you should buy new

I had a look at the FSID website when I was re using my cot and it said it was better to buy a new one for each sibling.
