Tariffs for solar panels

Hi, i'm wondering what tariff you are using if you have solar panels? I'm new to this I have a small setup and a 5kw battery, our energy use is quite high so with the current weather the maximum i'm getting from the solar panels on a good day is abut 1/5 of our usage. Am I better off fixing on a standard tariffs or using one of the economy 7 style tariffs and charging the battery overnight for use in the day? I don't have an electric vehicle if that relevant. Any help appreciated!

Watching because we’re thinking about getting a lot more panels and a battery. Also relatively high usage. Currently oil heating.
So thanks for the thread.

I've got around 4kw panels and a 6kw battery.
Heating and hot water is oil (no gas supply) and everything else is gas.
I have a PHEV with a 9kw battery that is plugged in when not in use but probably only charges around 20kw a week on average.

I'm on Octopus Go (not intelligent as I use a 3-pin charger not a dedicated EV charger, so can't get intelligent).

Rates are different in different areas, but atm I pay 9.4p per kwh between 00.30 and 05.30.
During this time I charge my house battery, car battery, set the washing machine and dishwasher in timers (and I know this is not recommended).

My export rates is 12p per kwh, so it is better for me to fully charge the house battery and export more solar generation regardless of the season - although this doesn't take battery deterioration into account).

With increasing rates I am considering increasing my battery capacity.
