Would anyone be interested in joining a no-spend August thread?
My holidays are done for the year, and all my money is spent!
I have a really tight budget to stick to, and no wiggle room.
I still want to enjoy life, luckily (?) DP is in the same boat so I won’t be pressured to live beyond my means.
My main expense is groceries and beauty creams/ haircuts for me and dc.
I’ve done no-spend months on mn over the years and I’ve found that simply trying not to spend money each day makes a significant difference. Even when you would otherwise justify to yourself why it made sense and would even out over the month. Simply not spending on a specific day does actually reap rewards over the course of the month.
