So I wanted to seek other people's thoughts on network providers, I've always been a bit of a snob when it becomes to who I use as my network provider and have always used EE or O2 but of recent the price I'm paying to 02 is just increasing to stupid amounts, it's now nearly £30 although I do get 100GB data. i don't get a new phone each time I always pay for my phone outright and then just have a SIM only. There are many of them small networks that piggyback on the proper networks although most of them require you to pay by card payment and you can't change the billing date like the main networks. I know talkmobile, Tesco mobile and ID mobile billing works like the main networks on direct debit albeit the reviews of them are terrible.

Then DS has a full contract and that's £60 each month.

What do you guys use as network provider, does it include the phone and what are you paying per month? I need to cut costs on what I'm paying in phones hopefully

My wife is very loyal to O2 was paying £30 a month but l phoned them.and got it down to £10 , just do that?

Lebara. And 4 siblings, who are tech and financially savvy, have all independently moved to Lebara. We only found out each other was using it through a random conversation.

I'm with Asda (Vodafone). I can't fault them. I buy my phones from John Lewis.

Also with talkmobile, they really reward loyalty. I pay £4.95 for 30Gb.

I'm surprised when i read these threads at how much some people pay for their service. I'm not a heavy user and maybe i could shave off a £ or 2 a month but I've never paid more than about £12 a month

Well, if you have an outage you can just buy the data you need there and then.

MVNO networks are known to be slower because they down own any masts they just rent capacity off one of the MNO's

O2 unlimited data /text /calls. Sim only. £24.

no WiFi/broadband.

I left o2 a few months ago because the price went up something like 10% for the rolling contract I was on and I couldn’t justify it. The only cheap deal they could do involved a fixed term which I don’t like so I moved to Smarty, paying £8 a month for 33gb snd I can cancel anytime.

£7 with 3. Unlimited data.

I was with o2 for over 20 years and on a sim only with bugger all data but it was under a tenner so left it. Then they hoiked that by about £3 so I looked around and am now on lebara. Got a great deal via money saving expert for £3.95 - unlimited texts and calls plus a whopping 100gb data! It will go up to about £12 in a few months but even then, so much better than o2.
