Hi, I'm Roxy. I won't go into my business too much here, but with the cost of living going up I've really stuggled to entertain my kids on a tight budget the past few summers, especially as a single parent. I also work from home and have previously found it so stressful trying to get any work done or having any brain space to plan anything. But I've actually always been really creative and thrifty, I've just struggled in the holidays to actually conduct any productive thoughts. I've also always believed in spending less and that entertaining the kids shouldn't cost loads and make us worry about if it impacts the food shop. Anyway, I've been creating games and treasure hunts for the past 10 years for my 2. They're now 8 and 10 and still love them. Last year, before the summer, I planned out topics and printed off activity cards for the kids to choose each day - so we could either spend time together or so I could get some work done (on my laptop) and they have an activity to do. I honestly can't tell you how much it changed my summer, my mental health and the memories we made. This year I'm publishing everything I've spent the last 10 years creating and giving it out for free to help other parents and to bring a little magic to other children. Does anyone have any suggestion on best ways to get it out there? I'm on the radio tomorrow, I've reached out to papers. I am giving printed packs away daily. I just want to reach as many families as I can, pennies are tight, times are tough and they're only little once. And from the reviews I've got already, some of these activities can make a real difference to a families day. I've added a photo to show you some of the ones I've published already.
