Charity grants for families in clothing and textile work facing hardship

They provide grants to families where a parent works (or has worked) in the clothing or textile industry and is experiencing financial difficulty.
To apply for a grant, you must have worked for an eligible UK fashion and textile employer for 1+ years within the last nine years.
For example:

  • High street clothes shops
  • Textile companies and manufacturers
  • Laundries and laundrettes
  • Logistic companies for clothing brands
  • Soft furnishing companies
  • Self employed people can also apply

I saw this today and I wasn't sure where to share it.
It is a real charity - I saw the URL in an email from the company who manages their websites (Who also manages the website for a charity I'm involved in)

I thought it might be useful for someone!

I've met them in the past, there are many more similar ones on the turn to us website, well worth looking up.

Thanks my friend used to work for Laura Ashley they went bust she’s a single mum with 3 kids this may well be of interest to her x
