UC due Sat 27th - help..

I am due to have my benefit put into my account on 27th as usual but that falls on a Saturday. This would usually mean the money would go into my account the day before, so the Friday. However this time the Friday is boxing day which is a Bank Holiday.

Is it likely the money will go into my account on the 29th instead, or the 24th? Or will it actually process on a Saturday (27th)

It should go in tomorrow.

O belive like wages they are not allowed to pay late so it should be paid the last working day before the bank holidays which would be tomorrow 24th. But if you look on your journal/statement it should tell you

It will go in tomorrow 24th.

I've seen that - and it makes sense however my payment date is the 27th but due to that being a weekend it would usually go in early. The link states nothing about weekend payments but reading between the lines it seems like the payment will go into my account tomorrow, 24th? Just tyring to correctly budget things over the next month.

Yep we’ve all said 24th OP. If you don’t get it by lunch time message them but I’m sure itl be fine

@ToKittyornottoKitty universal credit are closed today so she won’t get any reply to messages today. However the payment is today.

If you ring UC on 0800 328 5644 they've added a message about payments due over Xmas and New Year. I'd guess it's gone in today as 'banking day shift' will mean it's paid early becuase Saturday is a non banking day.
