Any online supermarkets where I can pay using Apple Pay? Or places where I can buy supermarket gift cards using Apple Pay?

I’m already skint this month but I have my Klarna saved to my Apple Pay. This way it allows me to pay in 30 days, however if I use the Klarna button in an online shop or navigate to eg Tesco from the Klarna app, it only allows me to pay in 3 instalments. I really need to defer to payment for 30 days.

I’ve looked at Asda, Tesco and Sainsbury’s and none show the Apple Pay button at checkout. I know I can do it in-store, but don’t want to risk it not working at checkout and then I need to put a trolley of shopping back.

I was thinking I might need to buy a Tesco gift card and do it that way, but I can’t find anywhere that allows Apple Pay payments when buying gift cards.

Help please!

Is klarna linked to your debit account?

I guess it must be. Or my bank account - I forget which.

You can buy some supermarket gift cards in the Airtime Rewards app using apple pay. Currently Aldi, Asda, Farmfoods, Iceland, Waitrose (John Lewis gift card), M&S, Sainsburys. You get cashback on the purchase as well (usually 4%) which you can use against mobile phone bill. My referral code TB4QEDAP gets you an additional £2, but it's a useful app whether you use my code or not.

Why not go into Tesco and buy a gift card with Apple Pay and then do your shopping? But I don’t see why just paying with Apple Pay at the checkout wouldn’t work in the same way as doing it online? But I have zero knowledge of klarna so could well be wrong.
