hello all, I'm a single mum and i will be moving to Broadwater next month, near the school Downsbrook Primary School. I went only once to the area and looks a bit isolated due to The trading States. I just need some input , if any one live near there can can tell me how is it, i truly appreciate it. I'm moving from London

I grew up in Worthing and went to Downsbrook school years ago. It was a friendly school then, hopefully it still is. It’s a family area but there aren’t loads of facilities on your doorstep like in London. Will you have a car? Worthing town centre’s not bad if you do, and the beach and the countryside are nice. Best of luck with your move. I’m sure you’ll meet some lovely people even if it takes a little while to settle in. ❤️

Don't be put off by the trading estate. There is a lovely cafe, Rens Kitchen just around the corner it's really convenient for the big Sainsbury's and it's a stroll to broadwater. Worthing town isn't as good as it used to be but the beach at goring is good and most of all broadwater is somewhere I've always felt safe. At the weekends the road is quieter as only the residents need to use it.
