After my breastfeeding journey ended I started using Aptamil and then since finding out it is exactly the same same ingredients as Cow & Gate I switched to that so I was paying £16 at Tesco then on Cow and Gate I was paying £12 for a tub. Then I heard about Mamia formula that was very similar to Cow & Gate so I switched to that and it's £6.99 a tub so a huge saving! I've been using it for over a month now with no issues and the powders look identical. The ingredients are slightly different on Mamia to Cow & Gate but obviously meet food standards and is verified so win win!
I would recommend switching if you baby has no intolerances as it's saving me so much money!
I also read while researching formulas you don't need to go onto follow on milk (no.2 or 3 etc) as no.1 is fine for baby until they have cows milk at 12 months.
Has anyone else been on a similar journey and been please tly surprised by Mamia?
The other thing I have always done if you have a pet is I buy the 300 nappy bags for £1 at Tesco and use them as doggy bags!
