Does anyone get used to having no money?
I get paid once a month..pay all my bills etc then have £100 spare for a "top up" shop.
No money for days out with kids.
I live off toast so I'm not eating the food in the house for the kids.
I now have to wait 3 weeks to be paid.

It might help if you answered the question, OP.

Yes this.

Maybe your kids don't need "everything" and that's the problem?

Without your income and expenditure break down, no one can really comment anything of use.

Sorry but no one can help you if you don't answer pertinent questions, such as do you claim benefit? Are you getting CM, how many hours you work

You say your kids get everything they need, kids need a roof, clothes , food, warmth , love and care. They don't need subscription tv or mobile phones, the latest in clothing, if their carer is allowing herself to become ill by going without - not just at risk of physical illness but mental illness
