I used to buy asda just essentials which was a year ago £2.30 for nearly 60 washes/2.8kg. It stopped being bio, got smaller 40 washes/2.25kg and went to £3.90 and now it's £4.75!!!! It's now £2.19 per kg...

The next cheaper one is asda's 4kg 80 washes, £7.40 which works out at £1.85kg they do a sensitive powder or a tropical scented one in this size/price

This one on Amazon is 10 kg 500 washes, if you subscribe and save it's £1.71 per kg

@Cartwrightandson it doesn't have great reviews really , I like Aldi washing powder it's good and not expensive 40 washes for £3 .75

I use Formil from Lidl or Almat from Aldi. The colour non-bio. I'm quite stingy with how much I use, but it gets clothes clean.

Another vote for Aldi! I used the liquid tabs which are more expensive than the powder but i've bought it when they haven't had the tablets and it's fine.

I use the Amazon colour washing powder and find it good. I was using pods and they were just too expensive.
