Cost of gluten-free bread and baking it ourselves

The price of gluten-free loaves have risen and the sizes loaves have shrunk. I eat more rice crackers instead, though.
Has anyone taken up baking it for themselves?

Gluten or coeliac? My gluten intolerant OH can tolerate soda bread as long as it hasn’t been baked with yeast. I believe it naturally ferments something bad out. Anyway, it’s far more widely available than GF bread so he has almost completely switched to that now. I came across it in an article:
