Have you spoken to Citizens Advice or similar?

Hadalifeonce · 14/06/2024 06:30

I am sorry, I don't know how UC works. Is there not a contract number which enables you to speak with someone, to find out what is going on?

Have you checked your journal? If a sanction has been applied then any notifications will go in there. Is the sanction showing as a deduction on your statement?
You do have the right to a mandatory reconsideration. You can also apply for a hardship loan through UC.
A 900 day sanction is extremely long and not the norm. Have you been in to the jobcentre and sat with someone who can tell you?

Theunamedcat · 14/06/2024 06:31

You should be told why your being sanctioned and for how long and how to stop it

TookTheBook · 14/06/2024 06:33

Call or visit your local Citizens Advice about this. Something isn't right.

Birdseyetrifle · 14/06/2024 06:35

A quick google tells you that the longest sanction is 182 days 🤷‍♀️

Savoydone · 14/06/2024 09:54

What did they tell you when you attended your meeting? Why wasn’t the sanction lifted then?
