Energy tariffs

Our fixed rate rate energy contract expires at the end of July and I'm exploring options.

I don't want to switch suppliers.

The cheapest rate they're offering is their standard variable. I've been on fixed rates for so long I'm a bit nervous about reverting to variable but at the same time I'm not expecting prices to rise at the moment.

Any advice?

I would stick with the fixed rate. Energy prices are going to drop in price over the summer but will go up again in October. Good luck there isn't much on the comparison sites either. I'm sticking with my current supplier 😐

There are some deals available but for my usage they're only a few quid less and with different standing charges and different economy 7 rates.
