Hi. I've applied to have my carers allowance reinstated after I stopped receiving it about 2 years ago as I was earning over the threshold. I'm now under it and I initially made a new claim. After I spoke to somone for an update they told me I have an existing claim suspended and just have to send my p45 in to get it reinstated. I did this and rung for more updates and they made a note on my account as "urgent" for someone to look at it. This was on Tuesday 28th. Does anyone know if this would be looked at urgently or am I still going to have to wait for months on end? Thanks
