TESCO delivery day.

This is an odd but confusing one..

Can't find the answer anywhere

When you order your Tesco Grocery shopping for a Sunday.. which day do they take the direct debit? Friday or Monday?
This Monday will be a Bank Holiday so would it be Tuesday? 🫤

They charge your card the day of your order, no different to if you were paying by card in store

It's all automated not sure the Bank Holiday makes any difference.

The charge will be put on your card immediately, when it comes out of your bank is down to your bank, some have real time transfers at weekends if you and Tesco bank with the same bank or it will be Tuesday

Yes I agree with pp , you pay on the day of delivery, your bank will take the £ on the next working day ( or at least rbs does )
