Smart meter showing nearly 3 times less price?

Hi

I understand the smart meter is without vat and standing charge but I have no idea how the price is showing £145 for March and my bill is £427 for the same usage. The help chat on BG is off and I’m at work so can’t call them all day.

my bills have come through absolutely insane, I’ve been relying on the smart meter and watching it go down but apparently my bill has been going up. Hot water only.

These smart meters are useless I've had no gas all weekend due to the battery dying in the outside meter and no being able to get through to the provider.

Do you need to update the unit rate on the IHD manually? (Your photo is of the In Home Device, not the smart meter.)

You can check your previous bill for last months meter reading and then check your actual meter reading to see if it matches 1527 kWh. But if you have used 1527 kWh then you’re being charged about 28p per KWh which has to be wrong (we pay about 4p per kWh). Are you in arrears? If not then I think it’s a mistake. What is your gas rate?
