Hi guys, I’m new here I’m just wondering if anyone could shed some light? I’m on UC have children. I received a message on my journal saying I had a ‘review’ and the phone call would be next week. I needed to send is 1 months bank statements which I have done. BUT it also asked for my partners bank statements too? I don’t have a partner, have never had a joint claim always been a single claim, I’m really worried about this? Has anyone else had this on a single claim? I’m really anxious.
thank you so much xxx

Sounds like they haven't got the correct information

Or someone else lives at your address and pays council tax?

It’s always been a single claim I don’t understand why they would think any different. I pay the council tax here too.
I was just wondering if any one else had, had the same

Sounds like an error

Simply write in journal that you are a single claim. That no other over 18 live in your house and always been a single claim

Yeah It’s got to be! They’re calling me next week for this review thing so I will tell them then when they mention it! Thank you

Don't worry about it, they've made a mistake.

I had something like this before but with a utility company, it was the most surreal conversation, they were trying to say I was 3 people (based on the previous occupants) and I was saying I was just one. It was only me. In the end I just paid for myself but not the two other imaginary occupants.

Scan and Send them a copy of your council tax bill showing your single person discount.

Other than your dc is anyone else living/staying long-term at your property? If not then you have nothing to worry about. If yes then maybe someone has reported this.
