National Railcards query

Happydaze2 · 21/02/2024 09:01

I am sure that National Rail usually discount the cost of annual railcards from £30 to £20 at some point in the first few months of the year, but can’t find any info. Can anyone advise, please?

I am in the same boat. So uninspired. don't have anything really. But bumping for you.

Sorry, I don't know how this got posted on this thread. I was trying to post on a chat about weeknight dinners!!

Think it's usually January. Have you tried Tesco clubcard?

MrsBobtonTrent · 21/02/2024 16:15

There's 20% cashback on railcards through trainline and topcashback at the mo. Or 22.5% through quidco. You need to be "ahem" a new customer of trainline for both.

New2024 · 21/02/2024 16:17

The new customer thing means you will get to the point of paying and then not get the discount if you’ve ever been a customer before

So - clear cookies, and set up a new account. Job done.

But same name, same address, same payment method, same date of birth that cannot be solved

You only need a different email address to make a new trainline account. I have had many over the years. And clear cookies first.

But if you don’t want to, then by all means don’t.

Thank you 😊
