I took an advanced payments before getting my first initially payment 5th Jan
Any ideas?
If its paid in arrears I kinda thoigh I was within the date to recieve it. Nothing so far although I know cut off date hasn't come yet

I don't think you will. Those eligible had to receive a payment from a qualifying benefit into their bank between the middle of nov- middle Dec. The exact dates are on the gov website.

Unless you changed from tax credits to uc , and had a tax credits payment within the qualifying period

No, if your first payment was on the 5th Jan, you won't be entitled through UC.

You might be entitled through tax credits, if you got a payment from them in late Nov/early Dec.

If not, you won't get it from either.
The advance payment doesn't count, it has to be a standard payment.

Thanks guys

Ahh I didn't realise a payment had to have gone in between those dates, I wasn't sure if it just meant you had to be claiming by then.
