Utility companies - customer service rant

I dread dealing with utility companies.
Today it was my local water company. Outside leak, said they'd fixed it. Water pressure low and was told another team would be needed with a 4 hour wait. 4 hours later no sign of other team. I phone customer services who informed me that the issue had been resolved and they had no knowledge of low pressure. Now I have to wait another 4 hours

My internet provider is a disgrace.

Does anyone actually like dealing with them and if so, top tips for dealing with them please 🙏

Don't know about the water thing but internet provider Sky, drove me loopy. I couldn't access my account properly and kept being put through to a chat bot which was useless.
Changed to our local provider Wight Fibre on IOW, they are great, installation was a bit delayed due to some problems but they gave me three months free broadband and phone. It's a small company but they are very good and best of all can speak to a human each time.

Oh for a small company who have customer service as a priority.

Sky internet was very unreliable. I moved over to Utility Warehouse years ago which is excellent.
