Can't be arsed sometimes

Cant be arsed sometimes.

It's hard knowing that life is getting harder in the UK. Things have become really difficult for the millennial generation in terms of being better off financially than the previous generation.

It's hard to get excited about things when you both work full time with small DC (we had twins so one was unplanned). Childcare costs nearly made us homeless and it's all been really difficult.

It just gets a bit much sometimes.

I hear you. I’m not technically a millennial (on cusp) but life is hard in the uk atm. Mortgage, nursery fees, basic living - I work full time so don’t spend anything on myself and I don’t feel it’s really worth it. No advice, just solidarity.

I hear you! I feel the same way. I'm due to go on my second Mat leave in the summer and I'm already worrying about how we'll be financially. This time next year is going to be so hard financially as our mortgage fixed rate comes to an end and my son will start nursery. Baby will then start next summer so will have two lots of nursery fees to pay out for.

No wiggle room for holidays or any luxury items at all!! It's a struggle but watching every penny this year is a priority for us
