COL payments

I know one is due to be paid in Feb... but I just wondered if there was any further word on any after this? I know nothing official has been said....
These have been a life saver for me and my family, as I imagine for many others!

I don't think there has been any mention of it. I would imagine they'd announce in the march budget if they were to be any more. I suspect it will depend on if its a vote winner I'm afraid (and I don't believe it is).

The third of up to three Cost of Living Payments will be made to eligible people on means-tested benefits between 6 February and 22 February.

If there are going to be any more it will be announced in the budget on the 6th March.

They have been really helpful but the Tories probably won’t renew it as “we’ve halved inflation… blah blah blah… say whatever the voters want… benefit sanctions…. Blah blah”

I doubt there will be anymore but like those above it would likely Be announced in the March budget.

Yes there is one due in feb of £299. No further ones have been announced. I doubt there will be any more to be honest now inflation has come down.

I read a few news articles a while back saying there is no intention of paying any further COLs after February due to inflation rates improving. I seriously doubt there will be anymore payments.

Has anyone had a text message about the last payment yet? For the last payment I got a text message but I can’t remember how long before the payment I got the text
