UC money question

•My UC assessment period is from 6th August- 5th September but get paid on the 12th September

•I'm moving into a new tenancy on the 7th September and will not be declaring the change until then..

Do I still get the money from the assessment period or would they change it before I get paid?

Your new tenancy will not be considered until your award due on 12 October 2023 (provided it's verified).

Your existing housing costs will be included in your award due 12 September 2023. Your UC award is based on your circumstances on the 5th of each month.
