Looking for another single mum to share house

Hello. I'm a Spanish single mother and a teacher moving to the UK around October (I already lived previously in London). My child will go to a nursery this year and I am looking for some West London areas to move in.

I have shared a house before, but having a child is obviously completely different and I understand myself the difficulties of co-living with other family, but I also see the benefits and mostly how much money we could save, so I would like to share a house with other single mum with a child of similar age ideally.

My salary is alright to rent a flat for both of us once he gets into state school, but at least temporally I prefer to share.

That's a great idea. Although I will just say, being Spanish you might find cultural differences with your flatmate.

I'd talk about how you're raising your children with any future mums just to make sure you'll be compatible.

I'm mainly thinking bedtimes and meals.

Hi, I’m looking to share a house, currently I’m living in Penrith ( Lake District) with my 6 year old son, I’m seriously struggling here to find any jobs ( there’s no activity’s available after school). Was thinking about London or anywhere down south, where there’s more facilities available for both of us. I’m a bit from everywhere ( been born in Sweden, Spanish mum, German dad and I grew up in Caracas Venezuela, I’ve been for the past 10 years in this beautiful part of the country but isn’t working for me. I'm currently living in london but considering a move to Dartington in Totnes and would prefer to share a larger house to form a mumune / supporting household wiith shared meal times etc..and taking turns with childcare sometimes.
My daughter is 3 years old now. My parenting style is very child centred - still co-sleeping at night, breastfeeding on demand and giving my daughter lots of space to do her own thing.
I'm self employed and able to work from home so hence looking at rural places to rent which might work for other single mums who are also interested in self- employment or working from home

I am Spanish single mum of 8 years old daughter with settle status to live in the UK although now living in Spain. I am looking for another single mum in London or somewhere else in Uk to share house to be able to move back now right now but if possible in 2026. I would like to work as Teacher Assistant for agency for example and to claim UC when living in the UK. Is any single mum in similar circunstances to me?
