It's falls on 7th august which is a bank holiday. Does anyone know when it will be paid?

It's paid by HMRC and pretty much every thing's automated so it will it just be paid as usual. Probably be processed next day if your bank follows the Scots holiday.

I worked with Scots in the UK Civil Service who asserted that the August BH in Scotland was same as England.....

It's definitely a bank holiday it's on all Scottish calendars

It won't let me add a photo for some reason but it's on all of our calendars

I'm confused because on their website it says it will always be Friday before but my payment dates don't even match the ones online

Is is completely separate for Scottish payments?

Did you get your money today?

Payments not moving on BHs baffles me a little. It's not like someone has to sit there pressing buttons, surely it's all automated?

Plus if the money comes from HMRC and you bank with, for example, Santander, does the banking system know or care that you're in Scotland? Or if you bank with Bank of Scotland, is it's system entirely based in Scotland so governed by your BHs? And what about the end of August when it's a normal working day in Scotland, but a BH in England?
