Its usually done on a casual basis so you don't have to committ to so many hours per week.
You don't need SIA licences. Obviously you need to be in the vicinity of large venues.
I work at a football stadium, cricket stadium and with a security firm where we can work a variety of events from marathons to festivals.
6 shifts a month will see me bring home around 300 after tax. That's my gas and electric bill sorted 👌
I just thought I'd mention it because it's an option if you need extra money but couldn't face a regular extra 16 hours week in week out.
